Who & what plans are eligible?
New Mobile customers are eligible for this offer when they sign up to an eligible 12 month plan and return the phone in good working order (within the first 30 days). Eligible plans include any 12 or 24 month Optus Green Plans.This 30 day offer is limited to one trial per eligible service with a maximum of 5 services per account.
Service must be cancelled in the first 30 days. You must contact us within the first 30 days of activating your service. This includes notifying us to cancel the service and arranging for the return of the phone. The phone and it’s associated accessories (e.g. power cord), will need to be returned in good working order and in the original box, within 14 days of contacting us.
Returning your phone
What will I have to pay when I return the phone? If you return the phone in good working order during the first 30 days, you will not pay any phone or plan cancellation fees.
You will be required to pay your plan fee, monthly handset repayment, anything not included in your plan (e.g. additional data, talk or text usage, roaming, additional subscriptions, value added services or accessories)
Good working order
What is ‘good working order’? Good working order means the phone is fully functional. That means the phone makes and receives calls and texts, connects to the internet and is not physically damaged (except for normal wear and tear as reasonably determined by us. The device:
Can power on and off
Has a touch screen and battery that are fully functional.
Is not physically damaged (e.g. does not have liquid damage, cracked, discoloured or bleeding screen (LCD) or casing
Does not have any missing buttons or damage to other components such charging ports or SIM tray
