Southern Phone Satellite Customers Get Increase In Usage Data

The nbn™ Sky Muster™ Data Increase Is Coming!

You read that right!

Southern Phone are pleased to announce that we’re increasing the data limits for all nbn™ Sky Muster™ Satellite customers.

From 1 October 2017, NBN Co is increasing the caps it placed on data limits for its Sky Muster™ service.

As an example, under this change, Southern Phone customers currently receiving 50GB during peak service hours on their Sky Muster™ Satellite service will see their data allowance rise to 80GB.

The best part? There’s no increase in the cost of your current monthly plan!

We are also excited to announce that we will soon be launching a Mega Satellite Plan which will include 150GB Peak and 150GB Off-Peak data. It is perfect for customers with larger data needs and pricing will be available shortly.

This increase from NBN Co is a fantastic move forward for customers on the nbn™ Sky Muster™ Satellite service, especially those in regional areas. The increase will help enable growth in communication across rural areas of Australia, while also helping to bridge the gap in network services between urban and rural areas - a phenomenon commonly known as the ‘data drought’.

Southern Phone are happy to help our customers with any questions they may have about the nbn™ data increase. So contact us today on 13 14 64 for friendly and informed advice.
