Bill Hilzinger - Southern Phone

Bill Hilzinger (Chairman)

Bill has over 35 years of experience as a director and chairman. He is 
Chairman of the Australasian Occupational Science Centre and the former
Chairman of Integral Energy and the Superannuation Services Corporation Pty Ltd. He was also a Director of the Energy Industries Superannuation Fund and Managing Director of Terara Sand Pty Ltd.

He is a Fellow of the University of Wollongong and has served on a number 
of Local, State and Federal Government Boards. For 17 years he served the Shoalhaven community as a Councillor





David Joss (Managing Director)
B.App.Sc (Comp), GAICD

David is an industry professional who has worked in the ICT sector since 1991. Having previously held roles with Singtel Optus and Crane Distribution, he joined the board from Community Telco Australia, a subsidiary of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank, where he most recently served as Chief Executive Officer. He has worked extensively across the regional telecommunications marketplace, led new innovations in the mobile payments sector and worked with regional communities in leveraging their telco expenditure as a community asset. 

His previous appointments included Chairman of a Victorian Football League club and Commissioner of AFL – Central Victoria.

Andrew Riley - Southern Phone

Andrew Riley


Andrew served in the Royal Australian Navy from 1965 to 1978 as an electrical engineer specialising in combat systems and communications. He was the GM of the Sperry/Thorn-EMI joint venture in Australia up to 1987. He was the MD of the ASX listed Rimpac Group to 1991. Andrew set up his own software consultancy which became part of a financial services industry data company, APIR, in 1997. At APIR he worked extensively with the International Standards Organisation developing global financial data standards.

He continues as a Director of APIR Systems.  He is the Managing Director of EW Systems Pty Ltd. He was the founding President of the ACT Chapter of the Company Directors Association in 1982. He served several terms as National Councillor/Director of the AICD.


Holly Kramer
BA (Hons) MBA

Holly is the Deputy Chairman of Australia Post and a Non-Executive Director 
on the Boards of Woolworths and Abacus Property Group.  She also sits on the boards of Western Sydney University, the GO (Goodes O’Loughlin) Foundation and 
ASIC External Advisory Panel. Holly’s previous boards include AMP Limited 
and Nine Entertainment. 

In her executive career, Holly was the CEO of apparel retailer Best & Less, 
where she was responsible for transforming the business and returning it to 
growth and profitability.  In that role, she was responsible for approximately 
200 stores and 4,300 employees across Australia. Prior to Best & Less, she 
was an executive at Pacific Brands running the Workwear and Homewares Divisions, and Telstra where she held the roles of Group Managing Director - Product Management and Chief of Marketing.  She has also held 
management positions at ecorp Ltd and Ford Motor Company (in Australia
and the US). 

  Holly Kramer - Southern Phone

Holly has a BA with Honours in Economics and Political Science from Yale University and an MBA from Georgetown University. She is a member of Chief Executive Women and was the recipient of the 2016 AMI’s Sir Charles McGrath award for Marketing 

Rod Oxley - Southern Phone

Rod Oxley

Rod has had extensive experience as a director of public, NFP, government and incorporated association boards for over 20 years. He was CEO of a large local government council for 19 years. His previous appointments have included Chairman of ahm, Director Westpac SLSA Rescue Helicopter Service Ltd, council member University of Wollongong, National & State President Local Government Managers Australia, International City/County Management Association, board member Illawarra Performing Arts Centre Ltd, board member Wollongong City Gallery Ltd and board member Illawarra Area Health Service. Rod was awarded a Public Service Medal in the 2000 Australia Day Awards.


Cathy Aston

Cathy is an experienced executive and non-executive director of digital and telecommunications businesses across Asia/Pacific. She has a broad
commercial background with senior roles in finance, marketing, strategy and business transformation.  Previous positions include Executive Director,
Digital Business at Telstra Corporation, Finance Director, Telstra International (Hong Kong) and CEO/Managing Director, Mobitel Pvt Ltd (a mobile phone company in Sri Lanka). Cathy is currently a non-executive director of Macquarie Investment Management Ltd and IMB Bank Ltd.

Catherine West

Catherine is an experienced non-executive director and has over 25 years experience in the media and communications industry in Australia and Europe. Catherine’s most recent executive role was Director of Legal, Corporate and Commercial at Sky plc in the UK where she was responsible for legal and business affairs for content relationships worth over $4 billion pa and commercial activities generating over $1.3 billion pa. She has expertise in corporate governance, risk management, commercial strategy and distribution, corporate structuring, joint ventures, acquisitions, copyright, intellectual property and regulatory policy. She is currently a non-executive Director of Nine Entertainment Co, a corporate and strategy advisor to APNE Pharmaceuticals, Vice-President of the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation at Chris O’Brien Lifehouse and on the Board of Governors of Wenona School.


Catherine is also a board member of The Trustee for the NIDA Foundation Trust, a board member of the NIDA Foundation Nominees No 1 Ltd, a board member of the NIDA Foundation Nominees No 2 Ltd and a director of her own private company Petra Partners Pty Ltd.
