With each plan you can also choose the international calling option which best matches your needs. If you mainly make brief international calls then our 10 minute capped rates will suit. If you like to chat for longer then our 30 minute capped rates will save you even more.

A call connection fee of 39¢ applies to all international, long distance and calls to mobiles.
Capped long distance calls:
$2.49 is the maximum that you will pay for a call of up to 3 hours (call connection fee included). If you hang up before 3 hours, you only pay for the time you've used capped at $2.49, including the call connection fee. If your call exceeds 3 hours the per minute rate will start again from that time without a cap.
Capped calls to mobiles:
$1.49 is the maximum that you will pay for a call of up to 10 minutes (call connection fee included). If you hang up before 10 minutes, you only pay for the time you've used capped at $1.49, including the call connection fee. If your call exceeds 10 minutes the per minute rate will start again from that time without a cap.
Home Free local calls:
The Home Free Plan includes up to 50 free local calls each month. It does not include 0198 internet connection or data calls, or calls to 13 or 1300 numbers.
*Home Free Plus Option:
The Plus Option is available on these plans. If you have a Mobile Service on a Southern Phone 19 Cap or 29 Cap Plan and it is billed on the same account as your fixed line service then calls between these mobile and fixed line services are charged at 1 cent per minute for the first 5 minutes, then normal rates apply. A 39 cent connection fee applies to all calls. All long distance, fixed to mobile and international calls are billed in 30 second increments when the Plus Option is selected.
Prices include GST. Southern Phone fixed line calls are generally charged on a per second basis. For your convenience our rates are presented here as per minute charges.
